Floor area, wall area and total material coverage represent different measurements. Make sure you are measuring the surface relevant to your task and accounting for any openings, excluded spaces or additional areas where appropriate.
Before ordering, compare your result with the coverage stated for the specific product. Confirm whether coverage is listed per item, box or pack, and whether your order needs to be rounded up to whole packages. Allowances for cuts and breakage depend on the installation and material.
Review which costs the selected tool includes. Delivery, taxes, preparation, accessories and labour may need to be calculated separately. Confirm the final price and scope with your supplier or installer.
If an area figure is needed for a property listing, permit, contract or other formal purpose, confirm the required measurement method with the relevant authority or professional. A geometric area result alone does not establish compliance with that method.
